Lefkada is the only Greek island that is accessible to visitors without the use of a Ferry boat.

Ionian Odos motorway and Egnatia via mainland Greece make Lefkada  be just a few hours away from Athens and Thessaloniki.Located on the west side of the island,the village of Tsoukalades is just a few minutes away of the town of Lefkada.

There are daily Ferry boats to Ithaca, Meganisi, Kefalonia and the island of Paxoi during the summer months.

Aktio airport is just 18km from the town of Lefkada. There are daily flights to/from Athens and from April to October there are charter flights to/from many European capitals.
